Quality is the most important part of life and daily activities are an important part of everyone's life. Comprehensive, well organized activities are coordinated by specially trained staff in the Activities Departments. Programs are tailored to meet individual needs of each resident.

The Brookhaven Activities Department is comprised of nine employees. There is a Recreational Therapist, who fills the Activity Director's position, four Activity Aides and four Hospitality Aides. Group activities are offered seven days a week. Individual activities and visits are offered as needed and desired. The department hours are 8:00 am to 7:45 pm Monday through Friday and 9:00 am to 6:15 pm on weekends. Volunteers are also an integral part of our department. Helping with anything from Chapel services, birthday parties, outings, group activities and/or individual visits.

The courtyard, chapel, restaurant, hair salon, and wide open spaces are also important aspects of Brookhaven which enhance our residents' lifestyles.
